Day 1 - Beach Club Hopping
Lodging - We stayed in a villa in Seminyak booked through Airbnb. It had private pool and 2 bedrooms.
Transportation - We rented a scooter from Bikago starting at $7 USD per day . Keep in mind you will need an international driver's license to rent a motor vehicle in Bali.
- Breakfast - We had delicious vegan pancakes, avocado toast and coffee from KYND Community Canggu. Total was approx. $17 USD.
- Quick stop at Dirty Sanchez Barbershop for a full haircut and beard clean for $11 USD.
- The Lawn - Minimum spending depends on the seating area. From bean bags at the beach to day beds. $50 - $100 USD.
- Potato Head Beach Club - Beautiful architecture and must-do beach club in Seminyak. Minimum spending depends on the seating area. We picked an area that was free.
- Finns Beach Club - This beach club turns into a party as soon as the sun sets. Security is strict, and will hold on to anything that is prohibited until you exit the club. Nevertheless, the sunset, food, drinks and atmosphere is totally worth it. Minimum spending depends on the seating area. We placed our stuff in a locker and towel for $6 USD and went to one of the pools and dancing area.
Day 2
- Breakfast- We had French toasts, breakfast sandwich and scramble eggs with toasts and 2 coffees at Sisterfields Café for $23 USD.
- Me time - The Shampoo Lounge in Seminyak
- Spa time - We stopped at Ki Ashiatsu + Massage Spa in Seminyak for a full body massage. $20 USD for 2 people for 45 mins.
- Check out from the villa and take a Grab for a 1 hour drive to Ubud.
- Bliss Ubud Spa Resort - Balinese style rooms and villas with private pool surrounded by paddy fields. Amenities include breakfast, restaurant, massage services, shuttle to Ubud center and swimming pool. Totally worth it!
Day 3 - Ubud
- Breakfast included at the resort restaurant. Choose continental, Indonesian, healthy, vegan, American or Look Bee breakfast.
- Alas Harum Bali - Admission fee is $3 USD which lets you walk through the facilities and take as many pictures as you want. Additional fee between $11 to $21 USD for the swings, sky bike, long dress or zipline.
- Merlin's Magic - This restaurant is so unique and beautiful! This was my fancy, out of the Bali price range but it was my birthday and it was totally worth it! In this restaurant the food chooses you. You pay $25 per person which includes an appetizer, main course and dessert that you choose randomly from a deck of cards. Not for picky eaters. I loved every single food that was served! They even gave me a birthday gift which was a gem I had to take out from a treasury chest.
- Ubud Market - Right across from Ubud Palace is a huge market with tons of vendors. Perfect place to get all the souvenirs, decorations and clothes.
Day 4
- Breakfast - Milk & Madu Ubud was delicious! We had an acai bowl, pancakes, breakfast sandwich, avocado toast, and 2 coffees for $27 USD.
- Ubud Monkey Forest - Nature reserve with more than 1,000 monkeys. The monkeys are free ranging in the area and you must adhere to their guidelines to avoid any scares. Admission fee is $5 - $6 USD.
- Get lost in the Ubud shopping streets.
- Black Rose Resto - Best Vietnamese restaurant in the area! It is operated by very nice ladies. The food was yummy; we had fried rice, noodles, lumpias, lemonade and a beer for $12 USD.
